Central Indiana Back on Top of Affordability

According According to the National Association of Homebuilders/Wells Fargo Housing Opportunity Index, Indianapolis retains the #1 spot as the most affordable major U.S. housing market again in the 3rd quarter of 2010. Findings were released Nov. 18.

Thanks to a business-friendly attitude, inexpensive housing and a strong cultural community, Indianopolis' population--now at 1.7 million--has increased at a rate that is 50% higher than the national average. That's faster than hot spots Washington, D.C., and Seattle, and nearly as fast as urban-planner darlings Portland or Denver.
